As the Founder and Owner of Unique Journeys and Tours and a Certified Tour Director, I wanted to find a way to support women just like you, who are ready to claim their courage and eat, drink, laugh, make new connections and explore the world … but aren’t exactly sure how to go about it all and certainly don’t want to do it alone. Because, the truth is, I know exactly how it feels to forget yourself in the midst of a transition. Finding myself an empty nester and solo again after 30 years of marriage, I have gone through many of these same experiences and have felt the same fears and frustrations.
And I strongly believe that travel is the absolute best way to find yourself again.
Traveling with like-minded people helps us see we are not alone. When we travel with others, we gain the courage to step out of our comfort zone and try things we would never attempt on our own. The pride and confidence we experience goes home with us and helps us through the next steps of our life, steps that seemed insurmountable just a short time ago. Not to mention, we bring home the connections with great friends we’ve met on our travels.
That’s why I’ve designed a collection of custom tours that prioritize comfort, camaraderie, and safety, while allowing you to reconnect with your old passions and discover whole new ones, together.

I wanted to create opportunities for women to travel “solo,” but never alone— to discover the cultures of the world through food, drink and exploration…together.
Personally Escorted Trips
Not only do I custom design each itinerary from the ground up, each Unique Signatures Tour is personally escorted. Rest easy knowing you have an experienced travel pro to guide you on your trip. I’ll take care of all the travel logistics—safely navigating our group through each new destination with the perfect balance of group and individual time—so you can simply soak up the culture and connect with your fellow travelers. Immerse yourself in the day’s planned social activities and turn to me to smooth over any travel hiccups that may arise.
Exclusive Experiences
You’ve spent your whole life taking care of others, so now it’s your turn. Our exclusive group experiences will focus on all things delicious—think private wine tastings at gorgeous vineyards, farewell dinners with special tasting menus, and cooking classes filled with mouth-watering aromas.
